-Janne- Happy Times Long and winding road - shortly. The band was born in 1991 in Utti village, 10 miles east from Kouvola, here in Finland. The Russian borderline is only 80 miles east from Kouvola. I´m the only one who is still playing in Happy Times, other original players are quit or doing music with some else's band. I´m pleasend, because I've always found new players in this band, and they bring something new energy and groove. And what kind of music we playing? Well, I call it´s something like -50´s, -60´s and -70´s Beat, Rock, Surf, influences stuff… (Some names: Laika & the Cosmonauts, Link Wray, Dick Dale, Elvis, Kinks, Badding etc.) And of course original Happy Times songs. When we doing gigs here in Finland, we play with sing and also instrumental maybe half and half.. But... We hope that someday we are touring around the world and then we play only INSTRUMENTALS. That´s because the sound of guitars are still very INTERNATIONAL! We also have a nice little studio called: "Mysteryland". There we are doing our records . We have done records since year 2001.
